Why does Al have guests on? |
|
I have been listening to Thom lately but turned in to Al today. He's had Brock on for the last 1/2 hr or so, and the rough air time for each during the segment is 25 min of Al talking and 5 of Brock talking. Is he ever going to learn how to HOST this show?

1. I like interviews, three hours is a lot of time and I find it |

more interesting to have guests take part in the show. I learn a lot that way in an entertaining way. Television just does not offer in debth time like radio can.

3. I didn't say interviews are bad |
|
I said Al's interviews are bad. I thought today's segment with Brock was supposed to be mostly Brock. But he couldn't get a word in edgewise among Al's impressions, stories, answering of his own questions, and general rambling.

2. I don't hear that at all |
|
Al does wonderful interviews and it is the strength of his show. Mark Crispin Miller was amazing on the show yesterday.
You want to hear a bad interview? Listen to Randi Rhodes.
