ORLANDO, Florida -- Hunting for guerillas, handling roadside bombs, crawling across the caves and crumbling towns of Afghanistan and Iraq -- all of that was just a start. Now, the Army is prepping its squad of robotic vehicles for a new set of assignments. And this time, they'll be carrying guns.

1. I think Arnold Has Some Competition.
Were any of the robots built in California?

6. HA HA. Wait until these things are deployed on our own streets
With little video-game addled freeper soldiers at the controls.

Keep progressively making the humanity and morality of life-and-death decisions farther and farther distanced from the person doing the killing.

Awful.

9. They look like a piece of cake for insurgents to capture
or disabled with a rock. $$$$$$ down the drain.

10. I hope so.
The idea of "soldiers" who can kill indiscriminately with no remorse or mercy is terrifying to me, regardless of how these gadgets may look.

I wish I could look at this as something cute or funny.
