how different from the anonymous riot-police in full S.W.A.T. gear we have here (and had some days ago)

9. I've mentioned this elsewhere...

A friend of mine was at the Grand Parade about a half hour before the march started when people were still arriving. He asked a policeman how many people they expected.

Answer: "Well, I hope we get ten times as many as are here now. That would really get the message across!"

It was one thing to see Arab students burning American presidents in effigy --now our flag has a swastika on it in Canada.
