Shrub, on top of everything else, is probably this close to a breakdown
If he did not already have two or three by now.....

OK, just assuming that he has some soul somewhere and bear with me for a moment...

We know that he was given information about the great potential of a major attack by the Bin Laden/IslamicFundyRadical/etc.

about which he did NOTHING>>>>>

We know he only got that first term in office by a series of unfortunate (for us anyway)events...

So here he is doing a PR in a grade school..and the s**t hits the fan in NYC and all hell breaks loose.

Looking at his face in F/911, the absolutely trapped animal look...
(OK still assuming he has some conscience, somewhere) ..the OHMYGOD WHAT HAVE WE LET HAPPEN???????

Now, assuming still that he has/had at that point some sort of conscience, the guilt of those deaths may have just given him the nervous breakdown, once the big rush of the immediate mourning was over....

He is definitely mentally ill..so all the yes men and sycophants around him are just controlling him like a robot.

Should be grounds for removal from office.

Wonder if they put him in a padded cell at night to keep him from running around naked on the WH grounds?

Wonder what drug cocktail he has to be on to even face himself in the morning.

Wonder how many shrinks are being smuggled into the WH?

Ever see "President's Analyst"?

I am starting to scare myself big time. Think I will go cut the leaves that fell from my oak trees last week.

Bush Taking Anti-Depressants to Control Mood Swings

President George W. Bush is taking anti-depressant drugs to control his erratic behavior, depression and paranoia, Capitol Hill Blue has learned.

The prescription drugs, administered by Col. Richard J. Tubb, the White House physician, can impair the President’s mental faculties and decrease both his physical capabilities and his ability to respond to a crisis, administration aides admit privately.

Notice the lack of MSM attention to this issue, even after his showing at the first debate when he appeared to be impaired by something.

2. That look infuriates me!
When I watch "F 911" I let the intro & menu play over and over....just for warm-up.
That is the look of a man who has screwed the pooch and knows that there is no way to turn back now.

4. He is menatlly ill and
he's a dry drunk - there was another thread here at DU about it. Of course, today on MM's website there is a picture of him raising his glass of WINE. I thought he didn't drink anymore? Plus, with him popping Prozac like candy I didn't think you were supposed to mix alcohol with anti-depressants.

"Wonder what drug cocktail he has to be on to even face himself in the morning."

That is a great question. How does he face himself?

What is "president's analyst"? you said it like it was a movie or something. Did I read it wrong?

9. "The President's Analyst" is one of the funniest movies ever
Starring James Colburn as the title character who knows too much about the President (like that he's nuts).

Everybody tries to get their hands on him, including the shadowy 'TPC' (The Phone Company).

5. The stress on his face in the debates was disturbing.
It was like he'd had a mini-stroke. You can get that from just stress, however.

I suppose everyone out here discussed and analyzed the ATLANTIC article raising the possibility that he is in pre-dementia??? We beat it to death at the ABC Election Board before they shut it down.

impossible to tell I suppose. Just listening to him though I really do wonder if he's little more than a front man for corporate Amurika.

10. Titular head?
He could become the non-existant Big Brother if they keep him in that bubble/caccoon and tighten it more.

BTW: I saw that look on his face, (at the school) as: "Okay, try to look innocent. Ah, not guilty. Ah ... not confused!"

14. "The President's Analyst" is awesome and scary
WE all know Laura has got to be on some serious drugs...

But seriously, I have seen the President's Analyst... pretty cool movie.. shows just how important "information" can be... what was the most alarming was the end dealing with the "Telephone Company's" cochlear implant.... that is basically like a GPS locator and bug in one.... scary stuff....

15. "Bush on the Couch" by Justin A. Frank
Among the subjects Frank explores:

Bush's false sense of omnipotence, instilled within him during childhood and emboldened by his deep investment in fundamentalist religion

The president's history of untreated alcohol abuse, and the questions it raises about denial, impairment, and the enabling streak in our culture

The growing anecdotal evidence that Bush may suffer from dyslexia, ADHD, and other thought disorders

His comfort living outside the law, defying international law in his presidency as boldly as he once defied DUI statutes and military reporting requirements

I have not read it yet, anyone read it?

Thanks, I'll read it in a minute.
Since I'm a newby, I don't think I can start a thread, but I'm dying to find out if anyone happened to catch 'Twenty-two minutes on CBC five minutes ago?
It had a great animated 'rap sketch' with shrub and hussein, called the 'Texacutioner'? Would love to see the whole thing, does anyone know about it? I suspect it's not new.
Thanks,
I hope I havent broken any rules?

I saw here at DU. He was walking off a stage somewhere, maybe it was Chili. He had stiff backed appearance that looked like he was very shook up.

the APEC summit in Chile? It sounds like it. I love that photo B* looked so pathetic.

18. Symptoms of the dry drunk...
Check out the DU site that TexPatriot2004 links to above. There are some very insightful and frightening articles on Bush's mental state. Based on this reading, I think that "nervous breakdown" is a rather benign diagnosis for the Prez. His condition seems much more chronic in nature.

One of the articles talks about the characteristics generally observed in the "dry drunk." Many of these traits might remind you of someone:

"Dry drunk" traits consist of:

Exaggerated self-importance and pomposity
Grandiose behavior
A rigid, judgmental outlook
Impatience
Childish behavior
Irresponsible behavior
Irrational rationalization
Projection
Overreaction

Spooky. Don't read it on a rainy night.

19. And speaking of Cheney--
for some reason the bunker he had built under the vice prez rez popped into my mind recently--some speculated that's what the major construction was all about at the beginning of his reign--I'll bet that's where Bin Laden lives and all the terror videos originate--no doubt the world's most luxurious cave.

21. I Think You Mean Psychopath
I think that is the term you were trying to come up with. Please this is not some "freeper like" attack when something is ever mis spelled or mis quoted. Something we all do. Just an attempt to help based on what I thought. If I'm wrong I apologize in advance.
There have already been out right medical conclusions/diagnosis of Bush during his first term to fit the broad requirements for "Pre-Senile Dementia. If you are not familiar with those words they are easy to look up and their general meanings fit Bush to a "T" in many ways. Yep we couldn't have a more unstable idiot in office about to do 4 more years. I mean here is a guy (just based on headlines I read before coming here today)that is saying he wants "Stability in the mid east" yet the very next headline reads "More Troops Being Sent To Iraq" and what new troops they may lack in numbers are being made up for by forcing people to overstay their enlistment contracts. Thats right. In addition to all the other dishonesty on the part of Bush he is now a signatory to wholesale breach of contract with his military personnel. Yeah Bush sure likes his troops. Just as long as they are around for him to send to their deaths. Well folks American had a chance to get rid of this clown that is if you really think this election was honest which I don't. Oh well. What more can I say?

22. I knew I wasn't being too original, what triggered it was
the link to the video that compares him now to when he debated Ann R for the Guv race down here. I was truly struck by the difference. (I had not run the video before because I normally use a computer that doesn't run the video) ...

Just my personal thoughts about it, and knowing that GUILT can drive you right off the edge if you are dancing a little too close to it anyway.

I will concede that at his dinners, he more than likely is being given non alcoholic wine...unless he is drinking again.

It is still damn scary/
