Can someone talk to me about this 'fake' Osama bin Laden??

I didn't hear of or see this until today - but now that i look back, this really doesn't look like him! Was there any discussion on this board about this before I came?

1. i had not heard of this

but i suspected. all the jabs at michael moore were just a bit heavy.right after that white guy with an ill fitting head dress....it all smelled like rove to me. looking at the comparison, who knows? psy op

2. It gets a little creepy if you stare at the picture

that shifts back and forth between the two Osamas. That is pretty weird. His whole face changes shape, especially his nose and eyebrows. And he seems to have gotten younger...

4. Looking at it again,

Is it possible that the older picture is just squished from the sides? It seems like his whole face gets narrower. I would like to see both pictures with shoulders so we could line them up a little.

I don't know what to make of this because the transcript from the 2004 tape was pretty bad for bush, so it probably wasn't the white house releasing it. Maybe Osama is dead...and this was set up by al qaeda to keep things rolling.

And when i seen the new one i thought to my self he looked like his health had improved enormously since the last tape i seen. Kind of strange really.

3. i wouldn't be surprised at all

if we were fed a fake tape just to get the memory of fear going again before the election.

sometimes, i wonder if Osama IS dead and they tell us he isn't and use his image as a scare tactic when they need one.

There was a huge thread about this just after the tape was released.

If you ask me, that fake Osama always reminds me of the captured Saddam Hussein though. I'm not saying it is, but if you compare the two, they have the same nose, cheeks, etc.

Osama is looking good though. If he is real, he gained some weight. Amazing how a man with bad kidneys is staying so healthy and fit. Life on the run seems to agree with him.

It wasn't pretty bad...it took arguments from the left...it took arguments from Michael Moore...it mentioned journalists like Robert Fisk...and it made the arguments irrelevant since the biggest terrorist in the world was saying it.

It's exactly the kind of Karl Rove trick that may have been played on JH Hetfield...the story goes...they got on a rowboat...Rove told him about Bush's cocaine arrests...and when it later came out that Hatfield had been to prison...no one took that argument seriously.
