I heard Corzine want sto run for gov. Will a Dem be able to win after the McGreevey scandal? I really hate to se ehim leave the senate, from what i have gathere dhe is VERY liberal and wa sa friend fo Wellstone's. Does anyone have info on his chances? Can we keep his senate seat? Also, where does he stand on gay marriage?

1. the NJ Gov election is on 2005...
If he loses, he would still be a Senator. If he wins, he gets to appoint his succesor.

2. I don't know...liberal senators are a dying breed
I'm sure Corzine would make a great governor, but right now I think I would prefer him in the Senate. We need as many votes as we can if we are to stand up to Bush. I worry that if he appoints a successor in 2005, the Republicans would have a significantly better chance at taking the seat in 2006. If we're going to be targeting guys like Santorum, Talent, Lott etc..., we can't be worrying about holding our own seats.
