2. I just saw something about Iran producing ICBMs capable of hitting
the United States.

4. This is what I've been saying since before the election
If he is re-elected, there will be some "incident" in the middle east which will make invading Iran "neccesary" - and will also give him an out for re-instituting the draft.

5. I see it happening now. "Information" is filtering in to suggest that
Iran is the next Iraq.

7. Yeah...
It seems like they are doing the psychological preparation now. Butter up the public for it. Lambs, meet slaughter.

9. I expect a post-holiday ramp up.
By February, Moran Americans will be foaming at the mouth to attack Iran.

12. I believe so too.
I think he and the other PTB are laying the groundwork for a "necessary" invasion due to "imminent threat."

6. I doubt he'll have a rationale....
...Since he doesn't have an election to worry about; I think the 'War with Iran' will be simple, naked agression. In other words: 'They have oil we want; let's kick their asses and take it!'

Just my .02.

My worry on his 2nd term in general...
Is that he is in his last possible term, Cheney says he doesn't plan to seek office after this - so he has absolutely nothing to lose. However, I do think he will use some justification for it regardless, if for no other reason than there are those around him who would be negatively impacted.

Also, I think his ego will demand that he provide a justification so that he can have the adoration of the millions of Americans who won't bother to ask too many questions.

10. Iran will provide the rationale for starting the draft.
I kid you not.
