White, middle class suburb Santa Clarita ships its homeless population to Hispanic Sylmar and downtown Los Angeles!

The ex-cop mayor wants to balance the needs of Santa Clarita's homeless with the concerns of merchants and residents. The goal is not to "pawn them off on Los Angeles," the mayor insisted. Santa Clarita is paying $36,000 to the Lutheran Church for sheltering services and it just so happens that deporting the homeless is part of the bargain.

Besides, says the mayor, people have to "stop pointing the finger at government" to solve all these problems. Philanthropic organizations and caring individuals have to step up and ante up.

2. Well it did not work when Churches took care of these people

So it may now with tax payers money and churches doing it. I am sure it will end up being only the 'right' churches that will end up with our tax money but this is what people seem to want. I think it is an error myself.
