1. So sad
I hope all the people who call Kerry a 'traitor' could see this. Obviously this Marine's mother doesn't think so

23. He may yet be president
I have to be an optimist; once the recounts are finished in Ohio and New Mexico JK gets elected 277 electoral votes to 261 for shrub.

But, like his mother, I guess he just doesn't want to "clutter (his) beautiful mind" with thoughts about the war's casualties.

The twins really should enlist.

6. That's the man I voted for.
Was over at Daily Kos where this was posted and somebody said,

"We HAVE a narrative, and John Kerry personifies it. It's called simple common decency. Values begin with simple common decency."

I copied that for myself because it is so true. John Kerry personifies common decency.

7. Thanks for the post.
This is so inspiring! The Senators are men of class, dignity, compassion and honor.

Kerry is the REAL leader.

Blessings to the two senators who did what was right!

I think you should also put this in the 2004 Election area. It is very uplifting to see a man of honor helping others cope.

9. And to Bush, this marine is just a statistic...collateral damage.
In death, Kerry honors the life and sacrifice of a young man who was sent to die for his country. Honoring this soldiers life is the true definition of pro life.

10. Thank you so much for posting this. What a difficult time we are
all going through. These pictures convey the sadness and tragedy that no words, can. Oh, and God's smite on the Kerry trashers (both Dem and especially Republican) who say that he doesn't connect with people.

I think over the next four years, the rest of America will learn what many of us already know about John Kerry. That he is a very fine man and an outstanding leader.

Next photo-op should maybe be him in the Senate voting!

21. Not too sure about that!
Anyone who really believes the country is divided in half I have a bridge to sell ya.

With that said..

What I was trying to say is that if Kerry really got out there and made himself more visible performing presidential things, it would click with 'Murican folks that he would be a better choice for prez... and by thinking that, they would swing more support to him giving him a wider margin to win by.

Hard to commit fraud if one of the candidates got a double digit lead over the other.

IMO, the states were so close that it was easy to steal a couple thousand votes here or there making it almost impossible to detect (or suspect) fraud. I'm pretty sure a few of these western red states actually went blue this time around.

With such a lead, Diebold could not have frauded Kerry without the majority of clear thinking 'Muricans seeing through the scam!

25. The Media didnt cover him.
The man campaigned his ass off. He went all over the country, made speeches on a huge variety of issues. He talked economy, he talked enviroment. He talked to vetrans groups, he comforted widows.

He did it all.

But you didnt see it or hear about it because the media didnt cover it, and Kerry had to spend all his ad money in swing states because he had to keep up with Bush and his PAC money.

You have to learn to phrase this properly.

What you are actually saying is that you wanted to SEE Kerry doing certain things.

So rather than asking yourself why Kerry didnt do them, why dont you ask yourself why you didnt see Kerry doing them, when 90% of the time he actually did do it.

22. Ugh. Two sad things: the sodliers death and that that man is not...
President-elect John Kerry.

And then there's the feelign that if that man were president-elect soldiers wouldn't be dying.

It's hard to look at that picture.

Thanks for giving a pass to the guy who voted yes on three of the most regressive pieces of legislation to be passed in the last 40 years.
