Gay Germantown PA minister banned????
I just have to say, this is outrageous!!!!!! This is just an example of how the monkey is going to put severe restrictions on our way of life, including our freedom to think, live and act within the laws of our country. Oh yeah, he plans on changing them too!! His influence has already been seen with the rejection of church ads welcoming gays (CBS & NBC). We need to contact our reps and senators to let them know that we're not going to stand for this crap! Anybody want to see Civil War #2??.....wait until Georgie boy tries to change the amendmemt restricting a president to 2 terms - and you know he's gonna try!!

Can't stay on - gotta go shopping for granddaughter's first birthday gift. Just wanted to put in my two cents.

1. The church is fully within its rights in this decision.
From an AP article: "Methodist law bars "self-avowed, practicing homosexuals" from ministry." This isn't a matter for us to decide, and it's not a matter of constitutional law. It's a CHURCH LAW matter.

I don't agree with Methodist law, but I'm not a Methodist. I think the idea of banning anyone with a good heart who wants to serve from the ministry is bogus. But I'm not a member of this minister's church, so I have no say.

2. Perhaps now the Christian churches.....
that actually practice Christianity, will grow in number and replace those that do not practice christianity...maybe true Christians will reclaim their faith and churches such as the unitarians or united church of Christ will begin to replace those that have so long warped the teachings of christ...when number go down...then money goes down for churches...maybe time for a Christian revolution in the USA.
