What do you make of the DGA (Democratic Governor's Association)?
I just saw a replay of their news conference with Bill Richardson and six or seven other governors. Their message seemed to be that the Democratic Party can win in red and blue states and they wanted more say in the politics of the national Party. And Bill Richardson was nomiated as head of the group, "unanimously", he said. What's the undercurrent?

1. I think it's good for them to be
meeting, planning, and strategizing because our best bet for 2008 would be a governor. Gotta start planning now.

2. reddish
EArlier commentary on their meeting indicated they wanted a red-state appeal in the future. I stopped paying attention then.
