CBS Nightly News says the economy is growing fast
They cited the 112,000 jobs, claimed high holiday sales and then interviewed a girl who got a job as a holiday Elf at Macy's, yes, an Elf!

Anyone else see it?

shopping season.

Hope the Kool-Aid kills the vidiots soon!

9. 112,000 new jobs is not good, it needs to be 150,000 a month at least.

10. From what I've heard....
Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 09:14 PM by JonathanChance
The shops that cater to more upper middle to upper class tastes are doing OK this holiday season, while the discount retailers that cater to the rest of us aren't doing nearly as well as they should be for the holidays.

The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, and the middle class is disappearing fast.

12. Why the hell don't they just interview Santa,
and ask him if he's glad bush got elected? Maybe ask him what he'll bring smirk for Xmas for giving him a job? What a load of shit.

13. Economic report decidedly downbeat
That's why my PAPER says, anyway. The outlook for the holiday season dimmed Thursday as the nation's retailers reported disappointing sales for November after an uninspiring Thanksgiving weekend.

Oh, who to believe, who to believe?
