Who is planning on leaving the country?

1. Can't run away from your problems.

I will stay here and fight for the things that I believe should be a part of our country. It crossed my mind, but ultimately I refuse to be chased out and to surrender my country to the Neanderthals.

when the election is fixed and the government is corrupt. Why continue to play when there's no chance of winning?

... there is a draft and my sons are of age

... citizens are being sent to camps

OR

... the economy is so trashed I just can't make a living here.

There are probably other things that will chase me out, but I can't think of them right now. I have roots here. It won't be easy to leave.

3. I will stay and fight for the democracy and the freedoms that were

fought for by my brothers, father, grandfathers and their fathers before them.
I will keep working to help where I can to expose those who have trampled on the very document that holds this country so high.

But when shrub enacts the draft, our children will be sent to school in Europe, I will not make my children sacrifice for this fool any more then they will by paying for it. They were not born to fight a morons war. Where are his sweet little party brats?

6. As an outspoken queer academic with a transgendered

partner and a car registered in the deep south... I'm going to fight my battles from a distance if I must and if I am able. If it makes more moral sense for me to stay in the trenches, I will. But if I'm a liability to the cause (i.e.: detention camp-bait) I'm out of here.
