Yeah I mean Chirac, Schroeder, and all other foreign leaders who have no balls and take the diplomatic low ground and verbally condemn the crime family. Pinochet is a Sunday School Teacher by comparison, but then it's so much easier to be tough on third rate Latin despots.
I'd like to see economic sanctions, war crimes convictions in absentia, the word that if they set foot on their soil they will be arrested and charged with war crimes, crimes against humanity, and breaking laws agreed to in the Geneva Conventions. The majority of the world's citizenry desire this. The voices of the people have never been so ignored.
Instead we are treated to photo opps of the Mafiosos behind podia exchanging concerns.
Ah hell, I give up, nuke everything and start over.

the "famiglia" is very worried and not at all happy because "capo di tutti capi" has gone bonkers and is hurting the "business" for everybody. You've seen the movies, you know how they'll fix the problem... shouting public threats is only for loosers!

for falsely killing innocents by the 1000's and imposing rule, then the world is fucked. These adventures make billions for the buddies, and the buddies will never tire of making more billions.

6. I am amoung the poor in this country |
|
but I would rather suffer through economic sanctions by the rest of the world than live in the world the bushies plan for us and our children. My favorite hero was Patrick Henry and I guess I have just a little of him in me. Sanctions may bring down the government but the land and the people will still be here and as Tom Paxton says in one of his songs "ideas once loosed on the world cannot be contained". True Democracy will live on in our hearts and the hearts of our children. We have experienced it - they cannot unexperience us. Once before Reagan made greed popular we were a great country that was free and cared for each other. We will not forget. I attended the baptism of my greatgrandchild today and I did not see her baptised into slavery to the rich. She is free and she has a right to expect this country to be here for her future not destroyed by a self distructive bunch of idiots like the bushies and their followers.

"I attended the baptism of my greatgrandchild today and I did not see her baptised into slavery to the rich. She is free and she has a right to expect this country to be here for her future..."
I couldn't agree more.

7. major foreign leaders are actually happy to let USA do the dirty work |
|
their displeasure is all about implementation details and who gets how much share of the profit pie. None of them fundamentally questions the basic premises of greed, colonial exploitation and very few getting a very large portion of world's resources and profits.
China, EU, Japan and India will be very happy if USA can take care of the dirty work and provide cheap and steady supply of energy. USA for them is like a giant company to which they outsource their military needs.
From time to time they get anxious only because USA may be able to control the access of oil and they may end up getting a raw deal. But they control *'s deficit economy by buying treasury bonds and trash US $, so they have enough leverage.
Everywhere in the world citizens have very very little control over policies - USA is not an exception.
