As I've done a few times before, I made lasagna and broccolli caserole (hotdish here in Minnesota) to serve to homeless people in my community. As people came in from the cold, I think it was in the 20s, all I heard was words of appreciation. One person asked for the recipe for the hotdish I had made. I am so angry. These are people with disabilities. Women who have escaped abuse. Homeless people, carrying there possessions. I am so angry.

It doesn't take a mountain to make a difference. We can do it one hill at a time. A little food here. A pair of crafty hands there(could easily make a pair of socks or scarf out of leftover yarn). A truly needy person would be grateful for a bowl of soup or a pair of dry socks.
