Who are you and what do you believe in?

Everyone who fights for something believes in something. Everyone who dies for something believes in something. Who are you and what do you believe in? Why are you fighting?

6. I believe in LIFE
I believe every human has the right to live and decide who they are. I believe all men and women are equals. I believe in freedom. I believe in the idea of the individual. I Believe in respect and honor. I believe in who I am because who I am makes what other people believe in. I am my own leader because I believe I am. Everyone has the power to be their own leader in life. That is what I believe.

5. I'm a humor writer...
And I firmly the key to humanity is humor. I believe that the strongest way to maintain perspective is to laugh. The best way to take power away from the powerful is to point at them and laugh.

Laughter is one of the first ways a child communicates happiness, and as we go through life our sense of humor defines us.

The times that I have been in the most danger, closest to losing myself and my connection to the world, have been marked by the loss of my sense of humor.

7. I'm a grumpy, crusty, old coot ......
........ and I like being one just fine.

But I believe to my core in people. All people. And I mean *all* people, even those who have yet to see the light. I may not like everyone, in fact I probably don't like you---> ... or you---^ ... <---or you. But I believe in you.

The only thing I can not and will not tolerate is intolerance.

8. i admired the counter culture
everything about it was thrilling.....the music, the lifestyle, the 'new stone age' hunter thompson, woodstock, long hair, freedom having fun, being non judgemental, mara juwanna, working towards a world where human intelligence and skill were used to explore the mysterious truth....and it all reverted to this! when reagan was elected in '80, it was beginning of the end...gravity or something kicked in

11. I work for social justice, human dignity, and equality before the law.
That may sound corny to some, but I deeply believe that I am my brother's keeper, that both economic and educational deprivation are degrading to the human spirit, and that all people are equal in the eyes of the law.
