If Reagan dies...................
Will it over shadow the current state of affairs? Why talk about forged evidence, 3.8 million jobs lost, 400 billion deficits, ECT.
When we should be glued to the T.V. set while the media does a montage of the gipper from top to bottom. Bush gives a heart-felt speech about him and his ratings go up.

The apathy of the masses have no bounds for their lust of distractions. Also if Bob Hope goes we will be subjected to a montage of his trips entertaining the troops in every war. It might bring back mindless blind euphoria. What do you think?

2. I think Reagan has died.
Edited on Fri Jul-11-03 08:19 PM by Clete
I believe he is being kept on life support until the politically right moment to let him go. For ordinary people who have Alzheimers the end comes a lot faster than it has for Reagan, so I am suspicious. :tinfoilhat:

5. Nancy Reagan and Ron Reagan Jr despise bush* and they
would never let Ronnie be kept on life-support for political reasons, especially Ron, Jr. When Reagan dies, it will be a week of memorials and pundits and repukes crying in their beers, but it will not interfere with the bush WMD/Iraq mess he is now experiencing.

This is not going away, even repuke senator Chuck Hagel is asking hard questions, he was just on CNBC Capital Report.

3. If Reagan passes away.....OH GOD!
I will stay away from TV for a week because you know the mainstream media talking heads are going to be playing it up. The politicans are going to be blubbing particularly the Repugs. The post office will be closed for a few days. CNN and Faux News will be having a dozen specials on Reagan. It is going to be just insane.

11. Right, Cascadian...
And before you know it "they" will be trying to name every bridge, mountain, building, and tree after the old fart. As well as enforcing a national week of mourning. Blech. I will hibernate until it's over.

Tom DeLay: Now let's win just one more for the Gipper! Reelect President Bush. Join us my fellow Democrats, withdrawl your candidate from the race and honor former President Reagan!

9. When not if
He WILL die. There'll be some obnoxious outpouring of crap for the man who made such a success out of voodoo economics. He proved you really don't have to pay attention to be President as long as you're a "nice guy" and good on TV.
