1. I've not watched any of the talk-shows or news channels since Nov. 3

BUT, 'GET OVER IT' or, 'QUIT WHINING! THE ELECTION'S OVER' IS ONE OF BOB NOVAK'S FAVORITE LINES THAT EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE COPIED.

but wouldn't they be wooefully wailing if the election had not been rigged and Kerry could have claimed the prize that he did get!

3. That's what I'm thinking...

I have to wonder, that if Kerry had won the election instead of this Diebold abortion we got shoved at us, how much of a "Good sport" would people like Novak, Ann Coulter, Gush Pfleghmball, Pat Buchannan, etc. be?

I bet they'd be screaming bloody murder. "He CHEATED! NO WAY Bush should have lost! We need a national RECOUNT!"

The only "news" program I watch anymore is "Countdown". "Infotainment" that actually informs better than the "hard news"...

I only caught this as I was surfing through looking for something mindless to have on while I was sewing my shoes back together...

2. I can't stand watching Novakula!

The sight of him makes my blood run cold.

Mark Shields is one of us -- a pretty good guy. Margaret Carlson of Time Magazine is also.

Jane O'B is a beeeyatch. Novak is repulsive.

And there you have it. I like listening to Shields, but not enough to counteract the repulsion I feel from looking at, let alone listening to, Novak. Gawd what a creep!

4. Margaret Calrson?

Didn't she own WKRP in Cincinatti and have the hots for Andy, the PD (who was almost 1/2 her age)?

5. Shields is a mensch.

He's one of the few allowed to appear on TV news regularly.

Margaret Carlson can be inconsistent but occasionally takes on the hard issues (like Bush putting tax cuts before the CHIP program in Texas).

6. I'm a military brat whose father had a secrets rating. From early

on, I was indoctrinated about "secrets." Don't tell. Don't tell. Don't tell.

"What does your father do?" He's in the Navy.

"But what kind of work does he do?" Don't know.

"Which station is he assigned to?" Don't know.

When I initially opposed the war, I was branded "Un-American," "an enemy of the state," by your right wing commentators. You attacked my right to express my concerns. You attacked my right to "freedom of speech."

But when The Traitor outed a CIA operative in the middle of a war, an illegal act, not one word was said. CNN kept quiet about the entire matter. Not only kept quiet, but subjects the American People to a nightly view of The Traitor.

The Traitor has stated publicly that reporters should name sources. Has The Traitor named his source?

For that reason, The Capital GANG is correctly named.
