Who is Al From? Where is he from? What qualifies him to be the
spokesman for the Democratic leadership?

1. He's not the spokesperson for the Democratic Leadership
Edited on Sun Dec-05-04 12:49 PM by rabid_nerd
He's the head of the DLC

Democratic Leadership Committee

Sort of our version of the "Clear Skies Initiative".. Something that does the exact opposite of what it says..

Actually, in the 90's Clinton and Gore were the DLC stars, but since they went out of power, Hillary and Lieberman and From are the front people...

Not exactly a trade up, thats for sure..

2. My real question is: What is his background? I have never heard of him
holding any public office.

3. From from......
From is a founder of the DLC, a so-called "new Democrat" , or as I prefer a neocon....

8. Thank you for the link. I found it interesting that he authored a
book called Blueprint: Ideas for a New Century. That lit up a bulb.
If you recall the Bible of the Neocons is called Project for a New American Century. I don't think the terminology is accidental. These guys are in cahoots with each other.I would not at all be surprised that there are strong links between the PNAC ( William Kristol) and DLC ( Al From). Now we know why our Democratic candidates act like wimps and don't stand up for our principles.Except for Dean or Dennis or Al. That is why they had to be defeated.

14. How were they allowed to infiltrate the party?
Was it a bunch of glittery bells and whistles (and a good sales job) that seduced DC?

Someone didn't read the fine print.

17. I don't know
But he needs to fucking disappear back into his hellhole right now. The DLC has been death to the Democratic party.

A damnable sell-out.
