Limbaugh: Rename Detroit to New Fallujah....and other brilliant insights

I don't know how I missed this and am also surprised not to have seen in pop up in Top Ten Idiots....

On Monday, November 22's show, Pill-popper Limbaugh had these insightful comments regarding the fight that broke out during the NBA game in Detroit and putting the incident in repuke's perspective (as reported by Salon, since my web-browser refuses to go near the stank-hole that is his website):

"This is the hip-hop culture on parade. This is gang behavior on parade minus the guns. That's the culture that the NBA has become," Limbaugh said, playing up his "courage" in saying so, while noting that his take was sure to be "tagged as racist."

"As I said before the last hour ended, 'Just rename the city of Detroit to New Fallujah, Michigan,' and then what happens at the palace of Auburn Hills will be understood by everybody who goes there."

You could call New York 'Baghdad, New York,' and this helps people put this in perspective."

And, need Limbaugh be reminded that child abuse, spousal abuse, and divorce have astoundingly high rates in Red areas? So, if this is a topic he wants to get into, I say "bring it on".

Re: If the fight was evidence of the "hip-hop culture on parade", then what in the name of Christ's ball sack was the shooting spree last week by a hunter and perpetrated upon hunters. I'm sure that's just an aberration, not an indicator of white/gun culture in any way.
