"Since our _president seems to think he has a huge "mandate", and people are not concerned about our broken election system, we have decided that we will "give them what they and YOU, the public said you wanted". We have no majority, so the people have spoken..and they seem to want:

Body bags in abundance...fresh from Iraq..and Afghanistan and ???
Dirty air
Dirty water
Expensive energy_{(and lipservice when it comes to research on renewables)}
Radical religion everywhere (regardless of "yours")
Religious zealots for lifetime judgeships
"Big Brother" snooping on your every move
A poverty-stricken old age for millions of our parents and grandparents
Unaffordable college for millions of deserving young people
A steady degradation of our infrastructure
The destruction of our public education system
$7.00 an hour jobs for all but the upper 1%
The elimination of the middle class
Medical care and prescriptioons for only the very rich
Debt by the TON, just waiting to be dumped on YOUR children and grandchildren
and so many more things he has not even told you about...

You asked for it, and now you're gonna get it.. We will give them what they (and you) want.. Enjoy!..

Then NO dem EVER would go on ANY TV show.. When they have something to say, they would call a news conference, and have a joint news conference with as many dems as they could muster..

People would tire pretty quickly of seeing the same ole rightwingers on TV telling them how good they have it... and when 06 rolled around they could not use the "...but HE voted for it too.." canard..

Tough times call for tough decisions..

Repubes did almost this same thing, and what did they get for it??
