Watch as our economic fortunes dwindle from assaults by saner
countries like India and China with well educated workforces, our embrace of wars, fake religion and sheer con games, economic, military and spiritual will accelerate.

As they say, whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad.

1. China is saner? Saner than what?
Sane enough to be a totalitarian nation?

At least India has some freedom.

2. Saner maybe not but smarter
That big sucking machine you hear is China sucking our money out of our pockets. And with that money they are buying things like the Panama Canal.

4. You will note China has greatly toned down its war rhetoric as its
trade ties with its neighbors grow.It has also been a mediator in the dispute between India and Pakistan. But my main emphasis was on how these two countries have used their money wisely in investments in education, infrastructure and health.

6. the U.S. is not a democracy
Edited on Tue Dec-07-04 07:38 AM by mairceridwen
And I'm not just saying that in regards to our contemporary political atmosphere

Technically we are a federal republic

We have (or used to have) a representative democracy

and we are slowly morphing into a corporate theocracy. i wonder how long it will take the world fact book to reflect that.

p.s. welcome to DU
