Privatization of Social Security
In today's NYT, Paul Krugman sums it up succinctly:

"Social Security is a government program that works, a demonstration that a modest amount of taxing and spending can make people's lives better and more secure. AND THAT'S WHY THE RIGHT WANTS TO DESTROY IT."

Red State citizens benefit greatly from SS, however, they also rail mightily against tax and spend liberals. Is that what is meant by voting against your best interests? Praise the Lord!
