Details of Pat Tillman's Death Revealed. |
|
The military tried to spin his death as fighting the enemy or terror, but it was really just a big screw-up by his own platoon. Link here: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7970019

3. This was front-page news yesterday in Phoenix. |
|
It makes me wonder if anybody out there is re-learning the lesson that our military will happily lie to us, while soldiers die for them.
I especially hope that the jackasses who put up that big "quit second-guessing our Glorious Leader" billboard on I-17, all get a good long look at that story.

4. It smelled from the beginning, when * didn't promote him in his campaign |
|
I thought for sure that bush would make him a centerpiece of the campaign, and make a spectacle of his death the way he did with Reagan. But no, it was fairly silent, and I knew it couldn't be out of respect for the man, because that word is not in bush's moral vocabulary. (Not that he even has a moral vocabulary.)
Anyway, I smelled a skunk almost right away. No big surprises here. I'm just sorry for his family. He seemed like a nice guy, although waaaaay too gullible.
