why does the president need an ID card?

just wondering why chimp would need to wear an ID badge while at the White House (around his neck), or anywhere for that matter....or is it something else? like an "if found please call..." tag that kids, and paddington bear, wears when out in the world?

used to swipe through an electronic reader to open doors. Still, it seems odd he'd need that in the White House. You'd think a guard would be posted at any door that needed controlled access. But hell, we're talking 'bout the Chimpster, and it could very well be he needs it -- as another poster said -- to remember his name.
