Who Killed Margie Schoedinger?
On December 2, 2002, Texas resident Margie Schoedinger, filed a lawsuit against President George W. Bush, claiming he and others committed "individual sex crimes" against her and her husband. The proper paperwork was filed, a detailed court petition was submitted, and it was apparent this case was serious; President Bush would be served with papers to appear before the court on charges of rape.

Now, I know what you’re thinking; this is big, if it’s for real, why didn’t I hear about it? Well, it appears there’s been a “media blackout” on the story, as no one, with the exception of a few local newspapers and internet sites, reported the story. The charges, whether fabricated or not, were legitimately filed and can still be read on the Fort Bend County website. Margie claimed, she had been harassed by both FBI and policemen, who she also filed cases against, and stated in her court petition…

"the Defendant also informed the Plaintiff that his only option to assure his never having to answer for the previous contact would be to simply see Plaintiff pressured to the point of committing suicide"

On Monday September 22, 2003, 38-year-old African-American, Margie Schoedinger was found dead, with an apparent "gunshot wound to the head". The Harris Country Examiner's Office filed the death as a "suicide". Only 9 months after charges are filed, Margie Schoedinger is found dead.

The Schoedinger death is just the latest in a string of strange ones surrounding the Bush family - Bush biographer J.H. Hatfield, Sen. Paul Wellstone, Sen. Mel Carnahan, and others that are detailed on various sites.

1. Now that is interesting!!!
I remember the Schoedinger case, and I was not sure what to think about it. I even thought maybe the website was a fake.

But her death could let me revise my skepticism...

2. Strange story, and other than...
agreeing with Jackson Thoreau who says if Clinton was involved we'd never hear the end of it, I don't know what to make of it. I vaguely remember hearing about it a while ago, but then it dropped of the radar.

Where's this more or less ex-husband, now widower? Any friends or associates, or anyone who knew her? Did any reporter try to follow it up with these interviews?

I can't see the Harris County PD as the place to stop asking questions. Harris County is where you START looking under the mattressses for grains of truth.

Harris County PD says they found out she went out with Shrub many years ago, but no further details. I wouldn't put date rape of a minor past him. Nor would I put her untimely end past some of his more nefarious associates. But, this needs facts if there's anything there, not a Clintonesque witchhunt. Maybe it was statutory rape that happened. Maybe nothing happened, and she was a bit off.

Lacking facts, just drop it as another dismal footnote in the annals of the age of Bush.

3. Since she provided no dates that I could see, I find this entire
petition hard to fathom. When was all of this supposed to have happened? Way in the past? In the recent past? Doesn't sound credible to me. Sounds like a deranged mind to me.

5. She did provide a date: Oct. 26, 2000
Right in the first sentence of the petition.

4. BFEE. The story that has been floated
is Ms. Schoedinger was "mentally ill." Hmmm. I wonder who initially "whispered" that story? KKKRove?

22. I think that was based on her complaint.....
Did you read it? It rambled on some and alot of things seemed....well crazy.

Jackson Thoreau did a story on her

http://www.opednews.com/thoreau1103bush_rape_suicide.htm

"Schoedinger's lawsuit can still be viewed on the Fort Bend County site at http://ccweb.co.fort-bend.tx.us/localization/menu.asp - then go down to the bottom and click on civil court. Then type "schoedinger" in the plaintiff box and click search. You should find another lawsuit she filed against Sugar Land police, as well."

11. Just because something sounds crazy doesn't make it false.
Edited on Wed Dec-08-04 11:25 PM by Minstrel Boy
Especially these days. In fact, we may be smart to give crazy the benefit of the doubt.

And, I'd say, definitely when there's a body with a bullet in its head.

There are extremely disturbing allegations about the private lives of Bush family members, particularly George Sr and Jr, made independently and over a number of years. I'm not presuming they're all true, but neither will I disbelieve them simply because they're too horrible to believe.

Sometimes, the more outrageous the crime, the greater the chance of evading justice. I'd say that's especially true if you're a scion of one of America's leading families. And why is it that this family has attracted an unusually large number of outrageous stories regarding pedophilia and sexual abuse?

Here's an excerpt from a piece by Jackson Thoreau. It's unsettling, because Schoedinger doesn't come across as a disturbed woman seeking attention. Disturbed undoubtedly she was, particularly if the abuse was true, but she wasn't pursuing the media.

"When I started asking Schoedinger about certain details of the case, such as alleged surveillance at her home and if she was still legally representing herself, she politely ended our conversation. 'I need to see what has been written,' Schoedinger said. 'I feel like it's best for me to end our conversation.'

...

"But I remember being puzzled by Schoedinger's attitude after hanging up the phone. I wondered that if she had made up such a wild story, why she didn't come up with something a little less outlandish, in which people couldn't necessarily dismiss her as a kook. I wondered why she didn't seek publicity to at least provide some form of protection. I've long learned that being as public as possible is one of your best defenses against rogue intelligence agents. But she didn't even seem to want any media to cover her story. I told several writers I knew, some of whom tried to contact Schoedinger. None succeeded, as far as I know.

"I remember thinking, "I hope she doesn't wind up on the wrong side of a gun." And sure enough, in late September, Schoedinger did.

...

"For all I know, maybe Schoedinger did kill herself. Maybe she dreamed up a lot of this stuff. But I don't know, am I 'deranged' to think it's weird that in this mass-media, detailed-information age, so few people are even asking any questions about how a woman who filed a rape lawsuit against the president could be dead less than a year later?"

"The Lonely Grave of Margie Schoedinger" is the title of the sixth chapter of a serialized novel by Mason Henry Summers. An excerpt:

For a silent minute he’s all Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver, and I get the ghost ache of a fat lip again. My stomach sinks a little. I can’t tell if he’s looking at me, so I just look at the ground.

"I’m going to take you somewhere" he tells me, "but not just yet. Read some more. You know who Monica Lewinsky is?"

"Yes. Read about her?"

"No. Of course you fucking know who she is. Everyone does. Go home and look for Margie Schoedinger. When you understand the difference between Monica and Margie, then we’ll take a little trip."

16. Exactly. As did Mr Hatfield, who also accused Bush
Accusing Bush eventually drives people crazy, and they commit suicide. Nothing curious here.

18. People commit suicide all the time.
Sorry, but that happens to be true. There was nothing suspicious about her death, no matter how badly the tinfoilers want to believe otherwise.

19. The tinfoilers believe that no one associated with Bush ever dies from...
... anything but murder. You could have videotaped her suicide, and the tinfoil hat crowd would introduce a 'they must have given her mind-altering drugs that MADE her blow her brains out' line of argument. Trust me on that...

23. Funny you should say that....
From Jackson Thoreua's article supportive of her:

"To be sure, Schoedinger's accusations - which include being drugged and sexually assaulted numerous times by Bush and other men purporting to be FBI agents - are bizarre and hard for most people to believe. But her story fits in with those told by a growing number of people who say they were used as guinea pigs or whatever by members of the CIA or another U.S. agency who wanted to test out the latest mind-controlling drug or just have a strange form of release. And her death - let's just say government agents have made murders look like suicides before."

17. I find this so strange, particularly because no one cares
If Clinton had a woman that he used to date accuse him of rape then die from a bullet to the head, would it be buried in a paper in Fort Bend, Indiana?

Um. No.

Even if Shroedinger was insane, it still shows Bush has one powerful cover-up operation.

21. Imagine Paula Jones winding up with a bullet in her head
before her charges could be heard in court.

Much can be learned about what's wrong with America by noting how well known one name is, and how little the other.

From The Fort Bend Star:

In her suit, among the many allegations, she has stated, "On or about, October 26, 2000, an attempt was made to abduct Plaintiff (Schoedinger) by three unknown assailants. Because of the actions of these assailants, Sugar Land police officers were dispatched to the scene. In the end, no report was taken. The assailants were treated respectfully and allowed to go free while Plaintiff (Schoedinger) was repeatedly and aggressively questioned. After filing a lawsuit, the Plaintiff's family and past contacts were questioned and harassed."

...

At the time of her death Ms. Schoedinger had not been seen by or had any contact with her family for about a week. Her sister and a local real estate agent called law enforcement personnel to her home. The officer searched the home finding Schoedinger's purse and other personal property in her vehicle in the garage. The officer found the master bedroom door locked. The officer's report reflects that inside the master bedroom he located Margie D. Schoedinger. She was lying on the bed having sustained a single gunshot wound to the head.

Detective Kelly Walger with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Department investigated the alleged suicide. In his report Walger writes that he contacted the victim's husband, and released the weapon, a Glock handgun, and all other personal effects. On September 22, 2003 Margie D. Schoedinger's body was taken from her home in the Sienna Plantation area to the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

Based on the findings from the Medical Examiner's office has ruled her death a suicide. Walger's report indicates that the case was closed based on the findings of suicide by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
