If as the Republicans claim abstinence is good for our kids, why can't they show it in even more important things like war, weapons development and things that kill people? Certainly Bush, Cheney, Rove and others of their ilk practised abstinence of sorts when they evaded the draft.Just carry it one more step and abstain from wars, is all I say.
