Funny Freeper Protest of the ACLU

So the freepers go sing Christmas Carols in front of the D.C. headquarters. The ACLU responds by setting up a table for the freepers with coffee and cookies and joining in singing. Does this sit well with freepers? Heck no. They much prefer perceived persecution to brotherly spirit. Except for the original poster, who noted that they were cool, responses varied from the cookies were poisoned to it must have been the office workers and not the evil lawyers. Quite amusing.

The only freedom is American imperialism with it's unparallel weaponry to control country's, with the freedom to steal our taxes, with our freedom-less soldiers lives.

to get a law overturned that kept christians from performing baptisms on public land. Franken brought this up when discussing O'Reilly claiming that the ACLU was at war with religion.

Mrs. Alex Arshinkoff of the Akron Republican party

19. Their whole argument is based on this fallacy...

...that the ACLU somehow wants to ban all religion everywhere when everyone (including them) knows that it's not the case (and isn't it a sin to lie?).

I like to point out that in 2002, they stood with Jerry Falwell in a case involving freedom of religion - I think it might have had something to do with zoning churches or taxes or something. I think it's pretty commendable of them to turn around and defend someone who accused them of the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
