The Republican Destruction of Our Economy is gaining Critical Mass.
Edited on Thu Dec-09-04 06:01 AM by KlatooBNikto
Yesterday's new item that Honeywell, Inc. a Dow 30 component, which dominates the Avionics, ground control and navigation systems on most planes, has put together a secret five year plan to move most of its operations to India, Mexico and the Czech Republic,is another early warning that the Republican hollowing out of our Middle Class is going to gather speed. In ten years and may be even less, we will become a full fledged Banana Republic. It is very likely that, as Argentina recovers from the excesses of its past, we will be ready to assume Argentina's role in thw Global Economy.

I point this out to those at DU who embrace the DLC's positions on how we should tone down our rhetoric like Dean was advised during the election season. It is my belief that we should do no such thing.Instead, we should remain steadfast and get rid of the DLC charlatans from the Democratic Party. The blue collar people who left the Democratic Party buying into the crap of the Republicans have done so because they are under the delusion that the economic hard times will not impact them. When the suffering engulfs them,no one will be a Republican again. Those days are not far off.

I think the Republicans, who cannot run a ten cent lemonade stand on a hot day in july, are going to be our best allies. They will dig their own economic graves and all it will take to restore Democrats to power will be to let the Republicans self destruct.

We have reasons to be optimistic.Along with the Republican Economic Calamity that is surely coming, the shifting demographic balance also favors us.Let us remain stead fast to our principles and get rid of all the DLC traitors.

1. You'll get no arguement from me on those points.................
the Democratic leadership must realize that we need a two party system again, not Republican and Republican lite. I'm doing my part to make them realize this, but there is much work to be done to convince the " powerbrokers" in our Party that this is the correct tack to take.
