Bush and Blair as Wise Men in nativity scene
CNN had a piece on this morning about some wax museum that had a celebrity nativity scene with Bush and Blair as 2 of the 3 wise men.

The rest of the characters were celebrities.

Depicting Bush as a wise man? pfffffft.

Either the creators are supremely stupid, or they are the children of the same satirists that brought us "little Beaver Cleaver"

2. Mme Toussaud just arranges existing figures.......
into a "nativity" pose. The Pope objects to the personalities chosen because of their questionable moral behavior,

There seem to be a bunch of people who think God doesn't have a sense of humor. I think he's been pulling our chain from the beginning.

(And whoever chose Bush to play the part of a "Wise Man" is mocking him, I suspect.)

3. Definately satire
David Beckham and Posh spice are Mary and Joseph and the other wise man is the Duke of Edinburgh.... famous for his gaffes.

One time he told a school child that he couldent be an astronaut because he was too fat.

4. Posh spice as the Virgin Mother and Beckham as Joseph
They had a piece on this on CBC news last night and the woman they interviewed had no objection to Posh and Becks, but was quite put off by the depiction off Bush as a wise man.

5. That is funny and every one would see that.
Rest of world will laugh over it and Bush voters will be mad as hell.

6. Here are some pics from BBC --

The celebrities were voted into the roles by 300 people who visited Madame Tussauds in October.

Prime Minister Tony Blair (left), The Duke of Edinburgh and US President George Bush (right), were chosen to star as the Three Wise Men.

Posh and Beckham in Wax Nativity

Victoria and David Beckham's wax doubles have been given starring roles in a celebrity nativity scene at Madame Tussauds in London.
The pair play Mary and Joseph, while Tony Blair, George Bush and the Duke of Edinburgh make up the three wise men.

Actors Hugh Grant, Samuel L Jackson and comedian Graham Norton play shepherds and singer Kylie Minogue is the angel.

But church leaders are said to be unimpressed. A Vatican spokesman told The Times it was "in very poor taste".

The celebrities were voted into the roles by 300 people who visited the attraction in October....

10. Sweet...
It's a strange thing;on the whole I think that pop stars should go and learn to play guitars and become proper musicians, but I like the idea of Kylie, with her perfectly crafted pieces of fluffy fizzy pop.

Still, there's no way that I'd buy one of her records or go to a show!

11. I thought the angel was Nicole Kidman
Of course I only saw it briefly on the news. Anything is better than * as a wise man.
