10. Interesting... I used James Loewen's "Lies My Teacher Told Me"

in my college class this semester, just to point out how ridiculously misleading and incomplete high school history textbooks are. And, believe me, the myths and omissions he cites were not "liberal biased" -- Loewen is the liberal corrective. The idea that these books are "riddled with PC nonsense" is itself nonsense. On the contrary, they are riddled with nationalist nonsense.

Republicans know that they can easily win these seats through the "moral outrage" route, and once in, they can get plenty of face-time on TV to further their name recognition.. No really, I just found a web site in New Zealand called "Cult Watch" with a page called "How Cults Work," And I swear, I could name 4 or 5 different examples for each of the "Yes, it's a Cult" warning signs they list, that the Republicans have used over the last 20 years (and especially the last 4 years).

I haven't decided, thought, if it's a Religious, Commercial (cult of greed, info-mercial), Self Help & Counseling, or a Political (i.e. Nazi Germany, Stalin's USSR), type of cult. The Neo-Con Republicans are kind of a NEW Hybrid type of Cult.
