2. Agreed.
Institutionalised murder is still murder.

6. He did today, it's on the second link.
I think he deserves it if anyone ever did. He committed rape and murder of a 7 year old. He beat her and left her to die in an abandoned well.

10. Terrible thing did person did, but to quote Us vs Them:
"Institutionalised murder is still murder." If she were my child, I would WANT to kill the bastard, and I might have tried, but it doesn't negate the fact that capital punishment IS murder.

You cannot refute this. No one can, though I'm sure many will try.

7. I thought you meant THIS murderer...

But in general I don't support capital punishment as it is today.

Theoretically I support it, but I think there must be a higher standard of proof as it is an irreversible punishment.

9. Higher standard of proof? He admitted it!
I have no comment on that murderer, I don't want the Secret Service busting my door down. That's a great picture!

12. that's a loaded way of stating the question.....
try this instead:

should this person, convicted of murder by an imperfect justice system, get the death penalty?

if it were logically impossible to convict the wrong person, i'd be down with the death penalty. anything less than that, and you have to answer the question: how many mistakes are you willing to tolerate?

13. no
I do not believe in the Death penalty. Murder is a symptom of the sickness of society and the death penalty is our way of closing our eyes to that sickness. People aren't born murderers.
