Too much TV in our lives?
They have a small device that fits on a keychain that has only one button. It turns off TV's, for example in restaurants, malls etc.

I found out about this on http://www.adbusters.org

1. Excellent!
Just what I needed, a choice. I dislike being forced to watch TV anytime I go to out. Do you have one? Does it really work?

2. And other people who might be watching tv?
Well their choice, apparently, doesn't matter.

3. Well if other people are watching tv, then I wouldn't turn it off.
Or maybe I would ask if it was ok to turn it off. Then we would have made the choice together. But I am sick of sitting in mostly empty restaurants and at my gym and being forced to watch TV. No one asked me if was ok to turn it on. Or what I wanted to watch.

5. I didn't try it
They say it's just a remote control device that can turn off any TV. Where I worked before, they had TV's all over the place in the hallways. At first people were scared that TV's would be put into the bathroom stalls.
