Conservatives Seem To Care More About Protecting Bush Than The Soldiers
Or at least that's the impression that I get. They've been talking about this journalist giving this soldier these questions. Didn't the soldier choose to do this? Did you see the other soldiers clapping? Conservatives claim that this was inappropriate. How? The news is getting out there about the limited supplies our soldiers have. It was the perfect time and maybe something can now be done about it. We've already heard about all of this before if you actually pay attention. The soldiers don't have the proper body armor and the kind that a lot of them have don't have the proper camo. I've even heard that parents are even having to pay for a gun for their kids over there in Iraq. It's unacceptable and these Bush supporters need to wake up and realize that they've already won the election. Bush has four more years. Instead of protecting him we need to protect the soldiers.

1. "support the troops" was always code for "don't criticize Bush"

2. Indeed. This is not new news.
Don't you remember in the debates, even, Kerry bringing up this very topic more than once.

Some people have such short attention spans. Or is it selective memory?

8. People Didn't Take It Seriously
It seemed about half the country didn't give a damn about anything Kerry was saying or said he was a liar when he said it. I even knew people that were telling me he was a liar about everything. Even when I showed them a news story to prove the accusations they didn't listen.

3. Well, when you're a republican who voted for Bush, and
you want to go to war because of a pack of incompetent self serving bastards like these, you don't always have the ability to control the public as mush as you want or wish you could.

They are sacrificing our troops and could care less about it. They know it. We know it.

4. Bush's has more commitment to protect
Corporate interests than the U.S. or it's soldiers. It's a proven fact he has never vetoed a bill nor opposed a regulation (or deregulation) for his corp cronies at the expense of social, monetary over ethical considerations.

6. I Heard Bush Has Never Vetoed a Bill Ever
or at least that's what I heard in the middle of 2004. Can anyone confirm that?

5. What do you mean, "seem?"
Those two-faced sons of bitches don't give a damn about our poor soldiers. If they did, the conservatives would demand that the Bush Junta give our troops the equipment they needed to maximize their chances of keeping alive in Iraq. Instead, they "support the troops" by excoriating each and every soldier who dares to speak up about the intolerable conditions under which they are forced to serve.

Have I mentioned tonight how much I hate these people? :grr::nuke:
