The Daily Show with John Stewart
Hey There,

I'm a relativly new DU member, and I would like to thank those who run the site, it is by far a model website for the internet and a great place to read comments from those with the same views as myself.

With that said, I was wondering what you guys think of John Stewart, Since I have boycotted TV I am pleased to announce you can catch clips of his show from the comedy Central website. I think JS is a refreashing face in the media and he brings up points the mainstream news simply ignore. I've been collecting some great videos on my site, if you care to check them out

any chance of JS getting a position on a diffrent network, or do other networks pick up his show at all? I know here in Canada we get JS on "the Comedy network" and recently he has landed a time slot on CTV which is one of our major networks.

thoughts?

1. I LOVE Jon Stewart....
Also, Keith Olbermann is about as close as you can get to him in the mainstream. Also, SNL "news" is refreshing too. As far as other news sources, I think DU's LBN is about a good as it gets, so I don't pay much attention to the other talking heads.

I have been a DS fan since the beginning - Craig Kilborn went to my alma mater. But, in 2000 it became my main source of tv news. I can not go back to "news" filled with celebrity crap. I kind of hope he stays away from networks.
