We didn't go to war because of WMDs -- we went to war to free the Iraqis.. |
|
The liberty of the Iraqi people was uppermost in our minds. That is why it was so urgent. We could not let them go another day without "freedom". As Rummy said, we "go to war with what we've got.." (paraphrasing)
So when those folks say we went to war because of WMDs, you can remind them that we went to war to free the people of Iraq. That is why we went in without enough troops, without armor on the vehicles, without an exit plan, without a clue.

2. We are at war with Eastasia, not Eurasia. |
|
We have never been at war with Eurasia. They are our longtime allies. In related news, the chocolate ration has been increased to 25 grams.

4. All these tin foil hat people with their 'WE WERE AT WAR WTH EURASIA!" |
|
I mean come on people. The television doesn't lie. The pictures you see there don't lie.
We've ALWAYS been at war with East Asia. Always. The Eurasians are our allies for god sake. What is wrong with you people?
And as far as the choclate ration being increased from 20 to 25 grams I say that some people here just don't deserve it. Big Brother though is more generous than I am, and if he sees fit to raise the ration then it must be the right thing to do.
Death to East Asia!

5. That's why Bush warned them not to hurt the OIL before the invasion. |
|
... -- the illegal invasion that demonstrated America's transformation to a fascist state. I guess that qualifies as a priori evidence at the upcoming international war crimes tribunal. More culpatory evidence can be found in the orders to protect the Oil Ministry at the expense of protecting hospitals and power generating facilities, not to mention the Antiquities Museum. And to think some hesitate to call Bush for what he is -- a NAZI crook.

The Coalition of the Swilling went to Iraq to liberate the Iraqi people. The bushies wanted especially to liberate the Iraqi people from their oil. As well as the Iraqi lives, Iraqi art, and anything else that crossed the bushie and his bushie-bot's collective minds to liberate. So what if a few thousand Iraqi people died, they are now FREEEEEEE!!!

10. Saddam was an evil man! He gassed his own people! He dumped them... |
|
feet-first into wood chippers! He was friends with bin Laden! The Iraqi people want freedom! They greeted our liberating troops by spreading rose petals at their feet! Democracy is spreading throughout the Middle East! Rape rooms! Torture chambers! Iraq was a haven for terrorists! It's better to fight the terrorists in an "away game" than in a "home game" here in the U.S.! GWB* will be known as the Abraham Lincoln of the Middle East! It doesn't matter that there are no WMDs! Who cares about WMDs when freedom is on the march, and we're safer here at home? - - - - - :puke: I think that touches on most of the ass-covering, right-wing spin-points about their illegal, immoral invasion of Iraq, and their bloody, unilateral greed-war for control of the world's largest remaining undeveloped oil reserves.
God damn, it must feel impossibly **wonderful** to be a right-wing asshole -- you can grab for all the power you want, and feel sickeningly self-righteous about it at the same time. :grr:

11. The "Free Iraq" crowd... |
|
is the same bunch that opposed any aid to any foreign country anytime.. especially the ones that wanted to be "free".
If Clinton or any Dem had said "Let's go invade Iraq, spend $200 billion, and kill a couple of thousand of our troops in order to free the people."... they wouldn't have impeached him.. they would have lynched him.
The fucking rightwingnuts have never given a shit about anybody overseas, so they can spare me all the tears about the poor Iraqis.
While we're at it, and in order to piss of somebody out there.... I don't think Iraqi freedom is worth the life of one young American. Iraqi freedom is their problem, ultimately. If they were to ask.... maybe.
