Is a one party state already a reality? |
|
When we look at how many of the DLC members are also signatories of the PNAC document which is the bible of the Bush Administration, one sees the link between the two parties. When this link is accompanied by the silence of the Democratic Party in key issues it is clear that the tacit approval of those policies is already in place. What Gore Vidal has called the Money party with two wings is now the reality of our political life.
For those of us not familiar with the PNAC, it is the document that calls for American Global Hegemony using American power to put down rivals ( China, Russia or any combination of global powers), denying them resources like oil and any number of tactics including the development of space based weapons and gene warfare techniques. The first phase of that war has already started in Iraq and if any of us think that the Democratic party plans to steer us in another direction, think again. So long as many Democrats subscribe to the PNAC, we will not have an alternative vision to guide us.
I think we need to ask the question of any DLC member: Do you subscribe to the PNAC doctrines. If the answer is yes, we need to remove them from the Party.Or we will no longer be the Democratic party.

1. Anyone who's bought and paid for by the corporate element is. So, YES, |
|
we are a one-party state.
Make no illusion about it.
And if the DLC feels so bold that they don't want Michael Moore (and others like him) to be seen as members of the Democratic party, you know they want to separate the free thinkers from the sheepish capitulators.

2. Actually...Vidal calls it the "Banksparty"... |
|
in his book, "The Second American Revolution".
And yes...for all intents and purposes...we're already a one-party state.

5. I guess we will be called anti-Am. if we do not want it |
|
I would think on the whole one would want his country to do very good. I have always wanted that with the USA but I do not see pulling others down to do it. I do think that the power of EU and China/India has people in power in DC pretty up tight. We do seem to have earned the 'greatest' in one way. Our military but then you have to have the people behind you and money to run that. We have seen in history what happens when you bankrupt your self for a military.

7. American democracy is an illusion... |
|
Behind closed doors, we have always been a one party state; the state of the elite. In 2000, we openly became a one state party. Gore didn't fight for anything. In 2004, we affirmed a one state party democracy. Kerry didn't fight either. The conclusion is that voting is a psychological game and only the elite's votes count.

|

|
with Iran for supply of Oil and Natural Gas.It has concluded an agreement with Canad for the oil from Alberta's oil sands. It is also in the process of concuding major agreements with Venezuela, Mexico, Russia, Sudan and other countires. They have also agreed to form an economic alliance with Russia, India and Brazil.

this strategy won't work. It's so easy with America seen as a bully to just short circuit this aggressive war approach by making economic deals while controlling our debt.
