If the government moves away from
the Constitution and Bill of Rights and takes away previous freedoms, can the people force the government back into line with these governing documents? I was wondering since they will claim they are elected democratically (except appointees).

2. In a "nation of laws" , the law can be anything
it can even strip you of your rights.

Once the law changes, so does the legal definition of "justice" for that law.

That's why when someone constantly spouts the phrase "rule of law"...you had best bet they are up to no good.

3. Nope. Not by legal means, anyway. When the top lawmakers and
judges decided to change the law or reinterpret the law, you can wave the constitution all you want and you won't affect a thing.
