If Byron Dorgan is DNC Chair does he have to resign from the Senate? |
|
I just heard Dick Durbin on "This Week", did a great job pointing out how the administration has completely faield to supply our troops with the right equipment. He talked about the future DNC chair and discussed the prospect of Howard Dean, gave him some great compliments BTW. Stephanapolous said that Harry Reid had suggested Byron Dorgan as DNC chair. Byron Dorgan is a pretty good senator with a great voting record and also apparently knows something about winning in red states. My question is, if he becomes DNC chair does he have to resign in the senate, because we really can't afford to loose good senator like him.

He can't do both.
