Did the soldier who questioned Rumsfeld vote for Bush?
Edited on Sun Dec-12-04 07:46 PM by abernste
I've heard a couple of times that his ex-wife stated that they both "proudly voted for Bush" last month. Anyone know if this is true? If it is, every bit of sympathy I had for the guy is completely out the window.

When will these people ever wake up?

10. Huh? Because the guy exercised his consitutional right to vote
he deserves to die for lack of armor on vehicles? What's the matter with you? Think bullets and bombs only kill republican voters? Get a grip on your brain cells.

3. I bet the Soldier
and the embedded Journalist both voted for Bush. Chattanooga and the surrounding area, is about as right wing as you get.

This is the kind of place were a reasonably intelligent woman will to you they have to vote for Bush because their Daddy or husband told them to. This is the kind of place were the right wing dogma is in embedded in their culture.

The simple mindedness is astounding.

6. Yes. They need to get their war criminal asses out of Iraq.
I have no sympathy for anyone following orders to conduct this illeagal war crime. Why waste my taxes armoring humvee`s of war criminals. Did Iraq ever attack us? Not that I can remember. But I`m not a brainwashed bu$hbot either.

8. I have to agree with you.
How do we know this soldier voted for Bush? Because someone else said so? I'll only believe it when he himself says so.

Plus, the lapdog media could be lying. They might just be saying that, to soften the blow of this whole damaging incident.

9. Makes no sense to me
proud voter for Bush.

Makes no sense at all. Maybe it is his spiffy new dictator jacket he wore at Pendelton that influences this vote.

He voted for Bush and now asks him for the proper equiptment, publically embarrassing Rumsfeld? What on earth is behind reasoning like that? Proud voter for Bush going to Iraq, proudly supporting his AWOL CIC, asking embarrassing questions about his safety and now the news he was a proud voter for Bush?

The news of his political affiliation is certainly taking the topic off the real question. The troops are being killed, maimed and wounded because they do not have the proper equiptment and that was a known a long time ago, not to mention the crassness of Rumsfeld's comments toward this Bush voter.

12. Maybe she's afraid to be seen as an enemy of the Bush state...
with her ex-husband labeled a troublemaker, so she made it known that they were Bush supporters --
