Will the electors of the electoral college have any "pangs of conscience" |
|
tonight? Or is it a "done deal" for them?

1. One hopes that one of them does have a conscience. |
|
Is the vote broadcast or recorded to be shown?
It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall of that meeting

The electors are party regulars, on both sides. They are the most partisan kind of human imaginable, on both sides.
When you voted, you did not vote for Kerry. You voted for a slate of electors who were already pledged to Kerry. Same on the other side for the Bush voters.

...I hope that more than one of them is thinking deeply tonight...
