Correct Me If I'm Wrong, But Didn't Les Aspin Have To Resign
as Sec. of Defense when he didn't provide our troops with armor in Somalia that resulted in the deaths of 20 soldiers?

2. Yes, but

Democrats take responsibility for their failings, Republicans blame everyone else.

And I think good-olde Colin Powell had some say in that.

3. Something like that. But remember, Bush Sr....

...was the one who put U.S. soldiers on the ground in Somalia, in an untenable situation, in the first place.

4. It was a Christmas present for Clinton from Daddy Bush
This was the guy who bombed and killed 2000 Panamanians to get Noriega so he wouldn't be able to tell the truth about the drug trafficking that was killing Americans and funding their stupid little wars.

5. As a lame duck, after losing to Clinton and Perot.
Like a juvenile delinquent setting fire to a bag of doo-doo, leaving it burning on someone's front porch and then ringing the doorbell, George Herbert Walker Bush left the US Army in an untenable situation in Somalia to help start the Clinton Administration off with a "bang."

The Reich said all along the campaign that Clinton was an "enemy of the military" and "disloyal to the nation." After the inaugural, the Pentagon chiefs were loathe to send sufficient tanks and other mechanized armor to Somalia, even when requested by Aspin before the "Blackhawk Down" disaster, according to Richard Clarke. These generals did the BFEE's bidding and also are guilty. Bush is an evil man.
