Well, not all of us, and not for a couple of months, but looks like the target is 15% in one of those leading tech companies that loves to off-shore. The trend continues. - K

they took their 401K's, (22K) and started their own business. it's been smooth as glass, and their first contract was with homeland security, they have paid their 6 month lease and bought equipment at auctions - im just the mom, but let me tell you they no longer have that robot slave look in their eyes. good luck to you.

other lines of employment, self-employment this time. This crap has been going on for quite a while, so you get to thinking about alternate futures.
Seriously, I really can't decide if I'd be luckier to stay or be one of the "chosen few". We do get a nice severance package at least.

my other half has been out of work for 1 1/2 yrs. now. Finally got a temp job making what he did when he was straight out of school.
