The news today was really good...but most of it is simply the starting gun on a long race. The Conyers hearings, the Kerry letter, the lawsuit...all of them will take at least a few days to bear fruit. Now that the (Heinz) ketchup is out of the bottle, it isn't going to go back in. There will have to be investigations into these allegations. The judge will have to rule on the lawsuit. The BOE's will respond to the letter.

The Peterson verdict means the right wing spin doctors won't have free reign at spinning our news tonight. If the media is talking about Scott and poor Laci and the baby, they won't be telling the public that we are simply poor losers who can't face reality. By time they finish with the Peterson voyeurism, we will have some positive outcomes from today's events and we will be in a much better position to counter their spin.
