My brother in law is in an unarmored Humvee in Iraq
He got there about a month ago and we've been worried sick. He's my husband's brother and they are like best friends. Always have been. My husband is walking around in a daze. He's a veteran, too, but out now.

He emailed to say he is near Mosul and no one has armored vehicles. He is NG, used to be active duty Army, but now NG.

He has a wife, four year old daughter and two year old daughter. He's 40 years old.

My husband told me last night if anything happens to him, he'll never forgive bush and his filthy warmongering lies.

I've never seen my husband like this. I don't know why I posted this, I just needed to talk about this as it's weighing on us heavily. The lack of armor on the vehicle scares me--he apparently rides through some really bad areas all over that part of Iraq and is scheduled to go near Fallujah next week.

:-(

Too many have needlessly died already. I wish your brother in law well.

2. Thanks.
That was the only email we've gotten from him and he said he won't be able to do that too often. He's in an intelligence unit with the NG so he goes into some pretty scary situations. This is the first time this war has really affected us personally. Neither of us can sleep at night.

Thanks again.

3. Positive thoughts to you and yours, BB.
This war totally sucks and I too will never ever forgive * for putting so many in such an untenable position and starting this war in the first place.

5. Oh thank you.
That means a lot. They were both in Desert Storm, both wounded, but they survived. And it seemed very different from this.

7. Isn't that pathetic?
It's a shame that we had to go in "with the army we had, not the army we wanted", isn't it?

My brother is on that side of the world too...I know the worry.

8. Hang in there
we'll all hang in there together. And yes it is VERY pathetic.

During Desert Storm he was in Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

12. your family is in my prayers this holiday season
as are all the people in iraq and afghanistan, and i do mean ALL the people. Civilians and military, Iraqi, Afghani, and "coalition" forces.

this godforsaken "excursion" should never have been undertaken, far too many peoples lives have been destroyed.

9. Your family will be in my thoughts.
When my husband left Iraq they left their equipment..all of it armored. I know leaving equipment has become standard practice. So what I want to know is why aren't these vehicles getting to the people who need them, like your BIL and other soldiers.

I'm wondering if these vehicles are being given to those in the green zone or being used by Haliburton people.

Something is happening to the fully armored equipment being left behind and it doesn't appear that soldiers are getting the stuff.

It's bad enough there's not enough armor going around but now I wonder what they are doing with the equipment that is armored.

If there's anything I can do for your BIL or your family, please don't hesitate to let me know. I've been there. I understand the rollercoaster of emotions.

10. Too bad..I hope he lives and doesn't come back messed up
Like most will from the Depleted Uranium tipped munitions, screwed up vaccines and other Government sponsered tyranny...Also, if he does get injured, good luck on getting any decent help from the Government....

I know about this and even when it was better then it was now..I got a medical Discharge from the Army for injuries sustained in Training...I turned down all benefits and most of their crappy treatment as well..I was lucky...good luck to your brother in law and I hope he comes back to fight against what's going on there and against the Globalist Tryanny that is taking over our own country....Orwell and Huxley were DEAD ON.

13. Direct your anger against Bush by writing a protest letter to the editor.
I pray that your loved one remains safe as well as all nationals and foreigners in Iraq and Afghanistan.

15. The American PEOPLE
must realize that this horror must be stopped. They NEED VISUALS. Give them what they need, please, as they will NOT see it in your *corp-controlled media.

May your BIL return to you safely.
