Looking for activism suggestions

A question for the board.

Where do you think the need is greatest for activism? Is there one cause which really needs some hard working individuals?

I am at a bit of a lull with my job so I am looking to spice up things outside of work. IMO, the best way to do this is to get involved.

3. There's no single, best activism

but people have their favorites, depending to some extent on what they are good at. Within Du there are some campaigns:
"Not Buying It" where we buy blue/boycott the repugs.

"Be the Media" where we get our message out ourselves, since we don't own FOX or other big media.

5. I remember the 60's well

are you talented? there's always street theatre. People love that. have you visited the site of the Freeway blogger? a great outlet. Oh how I wish I were younger and could run faster. I would like to greet Sunday fundies on their way to sunday school with lurid posters of children that have been maimed in Iraq. As far as I know the only organized group that endorsed Bush's war were the S Baptists. Are you brave? try postering lamposts in pedestrian areas. The best thing I saw lately was the 'buy American" rally inside the Missoula, MT walmart. The time has come to hit the streets.

7. Went to hundreds if not thousands of local bulletin boards

Presidential Yacht: 2 Million. College Education: Priceless.
Congress, led by Republicans, has passed a bill that will take financial aid away from over 90,000 hard working college students. Many Students rely on financial aide to better themselves through education, and Congress abuses its power by leaving them in the cold. Meanwhile, they spend $2 Million on a yacht for the President. It's just not American.
