So....Do you think anyone in the administration has LAWYERED UP?
As Carville said the other day, its time to bring out the Bibles!

Lies flying left and right....Rummy answering questions before congress being very careful to say absolutely nothing.

When the congressional investigations start....you can fucking bet these bozos will all be lawyering up!!!

I, for one, cannot wait.

1. BFEE members are given lawyers
at birth, like other babies are given savings bonds.

4. No James Baker this time, dear
It will have to be the blue blood D.C. white collar criminal defense firms...these guys are about to have CRIMINAL problems.....not political/civil problems.

I cannot fucking wait to watch them under oath with their criminal defense lawyers at their side.

Believe me, they are going to need them and they are already sending in retainer checks to put one on hold.

I guaranfuckingtee it.

6. I thirst for his demise
James Baker is beneath vile. When he was on Larry King claiming that John Ashcroft was confirmed by a 2 to 1 vote in the Senate, I prit-near spat blood. (58-42 isn't even 1.5 to 1, lest we forget.)

He is the look of Texas Patrician hereditary hate. Truly, structuralism shows in some of these people, just like Hitler's mob: they look like what they are.

I hope Baker comes out of his hole; I'm filled with hopes for this fiasco.

3. They stay lawyered-up.
They are crooked as a dog's hind leg and they know it. While we are on the dog metaphor: They have lawyers like a country dog has fleas.

7. Yep. As mom useta say:
Crookeder'n a bag of snakes.

And in the case of Junior: not worth the powder to blow him to hell.

You with me on this one? This is too big to contain. Witness the fact that they're already jettisoning the last bulwark against reality; in smallish kinds of things, they'd flush a few pawns first, then work up to mid-management. Obviously, they want to pin this on "some Clinton holdover", but I don't buy that they're in anything but abject panic mode with few cards to play.

I'm not that much younger than you, and I remember Watergate too. This is super-duper huge. Methinks that McCain line about "firing" someone maybe just a nice cold dish being prepared for serving...

A guy can dream. More than anything else, it's failed the sniff test; silly though the Wolfie poll always is, 95% blaming Junior is just too big a pachyderm in the room to miss.

Your thoughts?

8. The pachyderm is in the room and pooping big ones all over the WH floor
This is already WAY bigger than Watergate and growing by leaps and bounds. The front page NYT article for Saturday(see LBN)absolutely blows the whole attempt to let Tenet take the fall out of the fucking water! They're stumbling all over each other and the NYT merrily juxtaposes exactly how they're falling on their faces in the process.

They've even got the names of the guys from the CIA and NSC who dickered over what could and could not be said in the SOTU. In case you were too young for Watergate, that's BIG, fellas and gals, very big. It's a road map for who absolutely has to be called into hearings, what they need to be asked, and who rest of the press needs to chase after to interview.

The whole cabal is being taken down. As Unca Dick would say, BIGTIME!

9. I think Unca Dickie is gonna have his fingerprints ALL over this one
They're gonna have to connect his battery powered defibrillator to a power cord and plug him into a wall socket, because its gonna be freak city for this old fucker.
