Lets Liberalize a RW forum (Its fun)
Ok let me summarize this quickly. I frequently post at a right wing site (i tend to like arguments more than agreements lol) and i am now running for mod. The current mod is a conservative who tends to delete some liberal stuff. However hes not going to be around much anymore so we gotta vote for a new mod. Seeing as i go to the site more than any of the current members i decided i was a good choice for mod. The problem is that i am a liberal and so i dont have so much support from the conservative base of the site which is why i need some help from DU. I would really appreciate it if some of you guys registered to the site and voted for me (btw in case you wanted to know, it has been deemed ok to get outside help for the election)

Heres the site and you can register at the top for free:

Heres the thread where you vote. To vote just make a simple post saying you vote for so and so (hopefully me but you are free to vote for who you want)

When/if you have done that then i urge you to stay at the site so we can liberalize it .

Thanks in advance for any votes.

2. Why not simply run for election by the members there?
...with the credentials you have?

You say you post more than others. If you don't have the support of the members' votes, then why would you seek vote stuffing from the outside?

I see no purpose in bothering them, any more than I appreciate them coming over to bother and lie to us.

Why do you want to be a Mod so much as to ask for "outside votes", anyway?

4. They are conservatives
So they wouldnt tend to vote for me.

However i have respect in that forum so just with votes inside the site i would probably win anyways but since we are allowed to get outside votes others will get them so i gotta match them when it comes to outside votes.

Besides im not bothering them. Its an open forum. Its not for any particular side it just happens to have more right wingers than left wingers.
