The more that immigrate to Canada |
|
No offense - cause I love you all....but that only INCREASES Bush's margins of popularity.
America is the most powerful nation on Earth at this time. Don't you see? Nobody can stem the corruption from the outside....not France, Germany, all of Europe, Canada, Russia and China combined. We simply do not have the power. The UN is an empty vessel, sorry to say.
Short of worldwide conflict of epic proportions, you are our best hope to create an America that is peaceful, democratic, prosperous, that works within the international community, not autocratically making unilateral demands.
You are our best hope for change. 49.5 percent of voters in the US voted for CHANGE. Please don't give up. FIGHT!
Having said that - I am Canadian - and I welcome any American who wishes to immigrate. I will not begrudge those who see no alternative - but what I REALLY want to see is a strategic peaceful uprising that forces the US government into some sort of accountability. General strike.

1. I'd like to see a general strike, too, |
|
but it's not likely to happen for a million reasons, at least not until thiings get unredeemably worse. I don't care about Bush's margin of support anymore, they seem to have figured out how to fix elections anyway. I fully support and endorse any American's choice to move to a country where workers' rights are respected and where the currency isn't dying - I'd prefer to live somewhere where I earned my salary in Euros instead of increasingly worthless dollars.
