Can anyone explain to me in simple terms why - |
|
The DLC is on a route to belittle, destroy, villify Michael Moore?
I'm not saying that MM is perfect by any stretch, but he DID open allot of American eyes via F911. He asked pertinant questions that the mainstream media would not. He was active in the fight.
So - what is the deal anyway? You lose an election, and instead of supporting those who are on your side, you lash out at them in a vindictive, self serving manner that only helps republicans.
Can anyone explain it to me????

4. Why not go read up on the DLC folks making their comments? |
|
The sad part is, the DLC is unwittingly doing to themselves what they think they're doing to Moore.
Expect 2006 to be a Republican "landslide". And it really isn't a landslide of any sort. Not when the Repubs can stick together and the Dems wilfully spit on many who voted for their candidate.

5. The DLC is signed onto the PNAC agenda |
|
They are infiltators into the Democratic Party to insure corporate and PNAC interests are taken care of in both parties.
In simplistic terms, the goal of the DLC is single party rule under the guise of a two party system.

8. This is why I am moving to the Green Party for awhile. |
|
I have written to the DNC about the DLC being infiltrators and now it looks like they are using the time tested method of character assassination the PNAC is so good at. The only way we can stop them is to leave them standing alone and form a new party or back the Green Party.
This is the reason I left the AARP, a once fine organization for seniors, and now it has been taken over by the Newt Gingrich Republicans who don't give a hoot about SS, Medicare and senior citizens other than what's in it for them.

Under what conditions would it be the right decision to move to the left and not to the right. They are like Republicans and tax cuts for the rich. They want to pay zero in taxes, the point when they cant cut their taxes anymore. The DLC, to me, seems like just a Republican front organization. They wanna push the Democrats to the right, so the Republicans can move farther to the right. There is simply no situation for them where moving to the left would be beneficial. People like this should not be the leaders of the party. The leaders of the party should be pushing to the left, but holding back at the point where they feel they have to be to win.

7. The more I think about it, the angrier I get |
|
And I am not even American. If I were an activist, or a volunteer working to bolster the democratic vote, I would feel betrayed.
We already have enough voices speaking from the right hand side of the political spectrum...and apparently no voice from the left, since the DLC is not even happy to support the center, they are scrambling to find a toehold in the right wing.
